How Standard Pour works.

Everything about depositing into The Standard Reserve's stock pools with Standard Pour: what happens to your USDG, where the earnings come from, what can go wrong, and every contract involved.

What is Standard Pour

Standard Pour is an independent app for depositing into The Standard Reserve's stock pools on Robinhood Chain. You bring USDG. In one transaction it buys the right amount of the pool's stock token, adds both to the pool as a position held by your own wallet, and from then on you earn a share of the fee every trade in that pool pays.

Standard Pour is not affiliated with The Standard Reserve, Robinhood or Uniswap. It is a website plus one small deposit contract, listed under Contracts.

Quick start

  1. Get a wallet. Rabby or MetaMask in your browser both work.
  2. Fund it on Robinhood Chain. You need USDG for the deposit and a little ETH for network fees. About 0.0001 ETH covers a deposit.
  3. Open the app and connect. Standard Pour asks your wallet to add or switch to Robinhood Chain.
  4. Pick a pool and an amount. The app shows what the deposit would earn per day, week, month and year, and how it will be split.
  5. Deposit. The first time, your wallet asks twice: allow USDG, then deposit. After that, only the deposit.
  6. Follow it in My positions. The position shows up as soon as it is confirmed, with its value and its earnings.

The Reserve pools

The Standard Reserve runs three Uniswap v4 pools on Robinhood Chain, each pairing a Robinhood stock token with USDG. Tokens launched on the Reserve's launchpad are paired with these stock tokens, so a lot of launchpad buying and selling routes through these pools.

All three share one hook contract, which sets the trading fee from the US market session (see Fees by market session). The dollar side is USDG, a dollar stablecoin.

What a deposit does

A deposit is a single transaction to the Standard Pour deposit contract. Inside that one transaction:

  1. It takes your USDG. Only the amount you approved for this deposit.
  2. It buys the stock side. The right share of your USDG is swapped for the stock token directly in the same Uniswap v4 pool, at that session's fee. If the price moved more than 1% since your quote, the whole transaction cancels and nothing is spent but gas.
  3. It opens your position. Both tokens go to Uniswap's PositionManager, which mints a position NFT straight to your wallet, sized from exactly what arrived.
  4. It refunds the rest. Whatever does not fit the position's exact ratio, usually a few cents, goes back to your wallet in the same transaction.

With Simple, about half of the deposit is swapped. With Boosted, the share depends on where the price sits inside the ±10% band. The contract keeps nothing between transactions, has no owner, charges no fee and cannot be upgraded.

How you earn

Every swap in a pool pays a fee. Uniswap v4 splits it between the positions active at the current price, in proportion to their liquidity. A Simple position is active at every price, so it earns on every trade. Earnings build up inside the position, in both tokens, until you collect them or withdraw.

How the yearly rate is estimated

daily earnings ≈ fees paid to depositors in the last 24h × your liquidity ÷ (pool liquidity + your liquidity)

yearly rate ≈ daily earnings × 365 ÷ your deposit

Reading today's pools…

The estimate assumes the next 24 hours look like the last 24: same volume, same fees, same pool size. None of that is guaranteed. Launch-week volume may fade, and every new deposit makes each share smaller.

Fees by market session

Stock tokens trade around the clock, the real stock market does not. While Wall Street is shut, a token can drift from the share price, so the pools' hook charges traders more per trade. Depositors keep that extra. Here is what the hook charged over the last day:

SessionNew York timeFee per trade
US market open09:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday...
Pre/after market04:00 to 09:30 and 16:00 to 20:00...
Overnight20:00 to 04:00...
Market closedFriday 20:00 to Monday 09:30Highest (not yet observed)

The same fee applies to the swap inside your own deposit, so depositing while the US market is open costs the least.

Simple and Boosted

Simple (recommended)

Spreads your deposit over every possible price. It earns on every trade and never needs attention. This is the default and the right choice for most people.

Boosted ±10%

Concentrates your deposit around today's price. While the price stays inside the band it earns several times more per dollar. Outside, it earns nothing and sits entirely in one of the two tokens until the price comes back. Price moves also cost more (see impermanent loss below).

Collect and withdraw

My positions, in the app, lists every position your wallet holds in the three pools, read straight from the chain: what each holds, what it is worth and the earnings waiting.

  • Collect earnings sends the fees your position has earned to your wallet. The position keeps running. One transaction.
  • Withdraw closes the position and sends back both tokens plus any uncollected earnings. You receive USDG and the stock token; swap the stock token back to USDG if you want only dollars. One transaction, protected against the price moving more than 2% while it runs.

Risks

Impermanent loss

A pool keeps both sides balanced, so when the stock price moves your position ends up holding more of whichever side fell. Compared with simply holding the same tokens, you end up a little behind. For a $1,000 Simple deposit, before any fees earned:

Stock priceJust holdingIn the poolGap
−50%$750$707-5.7%
−20%$900$894-0.6%
+20%$1,100$1,095-0.4%
+100%$1,500$1,414-5.7%

Fees earned along the way offset this gap, but may not cover it. With Boosted the gap grows faster, in exchange for higher fees.

Stock tokens are not shares

SPCX, BABA and SKHY are Robinhood stock tokens. They track the share price but carry no shareholder rights, and they are not offered to US persons.

Smart contracts

The Standard Pour deposit contract is small and was tested against a copy of mainnet, including deposits in all three pools, collecting and withdrawing, but it has not been audited. Deposits also rely on Uniswap v4 and on the Reserve's hook.

Estimates are estimates

Every yearly rate on the site is a projection from the last day of trading. Real earnings can be much lower or higher.

Contracts

Every contract a deposit touches, on Robinhood Chain:

Glossary

Global Dollar, the dollar stablecoin on the pools' dollar side. 1 USDG is worth about $1.
Pool
A Uniswap v4 market holding two tokens that traders swap between, here a stock token and USDG.
Depositor (LP)
Someone who supplies both tokens to a pool and earns its trading fees in return.
Position
Your share of a pool, held as an NFT by your own wallet.
Range
The price band in which a position is active and earning. Simple covers every price.
Impermanent loss
The gap between a pool position and simply holding the same two tokens, after the price moves.
Hook
A contract attached to a Uniswap v4 pool that adds rules. The Reserve's hook sets the fee by market session.
Approval
Permission for a contract to move a token from your wallet, up to an amount you choose.
Gas
The network fee for a transaction, paid in ETH. On Robinhood Chain it is a fraction of a cent.

FAQ

Is there a minimum deposit?

The app accepts 1 USDG and up. Very small deposits work, they just earn very little.

Can I add to a position?

Each deposit opens a new position. You can hold as many as you like; My positions lists them all with their totals.

Is depositing at night a bad idea?

It costs a little more: the part of your deposit swapped into the stock token pays that session's fee, which is lowest while the US market is open.

Why did the yearly rate change since yesterday?

It follows the last 24 hours of trading and the pool's size. Busier days and smaller pools raise it; quieter days and new deposits lower it.

What if Standard Pour disappears?

Your position lives in Uniswap v4, not in Standard Pour. You can manage or withdraw it from any interface that supports Uniswap v4 positions.
